Every 1,000 Bitcoin blocks that end with “777” (referred to as “Minnaar Time,” which occurs approximately every 7 days), I check the price range of bitcoin for the 10 minutes leading up to when the block is solved. If the US Dollar price crosses a price that ends in “7”, “77”, or “777” during that period, the price with the most consecutive 7’s is noted and memorialized on an original Minnaar painting. This painting is then assigned the matching Value Score (7, 77, or 777) and is added to the “Money Machine” series in the Minnaar Collection. This series tracks bitcoin’s rise and the dollar’s demise by recording the block time, date, and price of one bitcoin directly on a new painting every 1,000 blocks.
