Doesn’t the dimming mode get rid of that? My phone is dimmed at all times, even during the day

It’s not strong enough, you need to go into settings, accessibility, display and text and go to color filters. You can make a shortcut so that you can turn it on and off; that’s how have it set up. A great application to use for laptop is Iris
