"In our home, toddlers are most successful if they know they are not only loved, but that they are wanted and needed. They help with the cooking, the cleaning, and wiping the baby’s hands. They go to the market with me, fold the washcloths, and learn how to make their own beds. In every day, they are incorporated into the workings of running a home and growing a garden.
