Lightning is bitcoin but yes it will send the bitcoin on-chain.

The lightning network is not inherently btc… it’s denominated in btc because we use it on bitcoin

Nothing gets converted when using the lightning network.

Nothing gets converted if you run the lightning network on another cryptocurrency either

Correct. But people keep confusing lightning for a token or some sort of conversion and its not.

Agreed… that’s ecash/cashu

I GUESS THE BETTER QUESTION I SHOULD HAVE ASKED IS " DOES PRIMAL DO THE ATOMIC SWAP "

THEY RESPONDED BACK WITH " YES " THATS ANOTHER REASON FOR THE FEE .. IM ASSUMING.

I side tracked the initial response

Generally speaking if you want to send btc LN to an on chain btc address (cold storage) you will need to use a swap service like boltz.

Yes correct 😁

You can also do it if you use Coinos as your LN wallet.

Fuck coin os

Yes. They do. Sometimes it shows up as 2 transaction on your wallet that you receive too.

Thats kinds weird but it happened to me with the primal wallet

SHOWED UP IN ONE NICE TRANSACTION 😄

BUT THATS GOOD TO KNOW ...

THANK YOU GUY'S, PRIMAL COME TO FIND OUT ACTUALLY DOES THE CONVERSATION FOR YOU... AT A FEE BUT IT JUST HIT ON CHAIN.... NICE AND QUICK.

Good question. No idea.

I got the answer 😁 thank you 🙂
