A client for people who can name 10 books would have a trending list ranked by length-and-depth-of-replies and a smooth flow from Kind 01 note to long-form.

And the replies would count all entries and show all entries as a feed, instead of requiring clapping-out.

And trace-backs for quotes.

I want to see everyone who quoted the note I found interesting because I might find their note interesting, too.

Yes, it's the blog or forum style making a comeback. The OP kicks off a topic and everyone who wants to discuss it, pops up in the replies.

Completely different from the influencer structure of the OP carrying most of the signal and everyone mindlessly scrolling a feed.

I guess the difference is that the OP works for you. They are a conversation-maker and a host.

You don't pay homage to them. So, you don't engage in the conversation, just to tell them how wonderful they are. You engage because you like the topic.
