Humans kill constantly.
But yes, it's not necessarily humane to kill. But, if they were on their way to slaughter, and we're in a horrible car crash, and then suffered until they were slain or died from their injuries laying in the street...
The only reason I didn't is because by choosing to live, I can do more for cows in the future.
Today I must let them be herded to the grave.
The white cow was my favorite but it was also in a cage by itself and was having trouble standing up with the motion of the trailer. It breaks my heart to see animals suffer while people blindly march forward.
I wish I could have stopped to pet the cow, but the systemic destruction of nature doesn't allow for that.
We are not free.
