I’m definitely in a bubble on this one. Been driving the same truck since 2003. It’s paid off and I only carry liability insurance. Gas mileage is decent enough and I’m fortunate enough to be able to work from home a good portion of my week.

Feeling for those that are getting squeezed out there ❤️🫡

Bring back steam cars.

I have a 2003 Honda Civic that I bought 5 years ago for $700.

since then I have spent about $1000 on oil changes, brakes, and other maintenance.

I dont use credit cards except for gas, maintenance and utilities.

The problem is that everyone thinks they NEED a brand new car and make monthly payments.

or a brand new phone or....

People can live quite comfortably if they stop believing they NEED certain things.

Sure the prices are outrages and I think the corporations are private capitalist crooks running a communist government that favors the capitalists only.

But there is no need to voluntarily put yourself into chains for owning a brand new mediocre car lol
