I just discovered Sci-hub today. Scientific research papers and knowledge should be accessible to anyone who seeks it. The serial subscriptions and paywalls are annyoing.

In the medical field this I find to be even more important, we are taught in medical school to practice evidence-based medicine and in order to do so we require access to the latest research, currently I need to pay for that access. The incentives are not in place to make this free and open. I'm happy there are people out there trying to counter this unethical trend. Now I know about Nostr, bitcoin and Sci-hub. Things are happening and it is gives me hope.
