Businesses don't need to opt-in?

I don’t know for sure, but I assume

a) business only need to opt-in to convert sales to bitcoin

b) customer can just pay in bitcoin

c) you need to update your firmware?

my understanding is business owners specifically need to turn it on in their settings. suppose we will all find out soon enough.
