Use a load of biochar to buffer the ph and retain moisture and get some specialist ericoid fungi for it too . Mines outside it does grow well until I forget to throw something over it when it gets very cold, but its survived my negligence so far. I want to grow a tree above it to give it a bit more shelter at some stage.

Definitely do the biochar or use a lot of ericoid compost though killed one years ago by not accounting enough for the ph and they seem to be less forgiving than the ornamental camellias.
