I’m a borderline free-speech absolutist — even though I think speech cheering on violence against regular people is ignorant and vile, I think they should be able to say what they want, and I don’t think people should be blackballed from getting a job later in life because they said or believed some stupid shit at some point

That said, I don’t have the Herculean restraint it takes not to enjoy the schadenfreude here. These idiots were Harvard students, and what does it mean to get into Harvard? It means you are very good at doing what you have been incentivized to do.

So these poor midwits were so good at internalizing the woke rhetoric they were taught — probably would have put me in a camp for not taking the mRNA poison — got got because their over-compliance finally ran afoul of something else you’re supposed to comply with.

It’s a classic double-bind where you have to be two contradictory things at once, and you can’t possiby win.
