Genuine question; Do Americans not see both the good and bad that America does?
The rest of the world sees America as being good sometimes and bad sometimes?
What is it about this fake exceptionalism?

There’s nothing fake about it. America is exceptional.
Of course we see the bad things done in our name and the vast majority of us do not support it, but we fight to make it better. Nothing is perfect, but I’ll take America over the rest of the west.
