Get ready for shitcoining to come to Nostr. Bitcoiners appear to be doing all the building now but I think that’s simply a present circumstance not a rule.

If and as Nostr continues its adoption trajectory this is what we’ll have to look forward to:

“Hey! Have you tried the new AI-algorithm, ChatGPT powered Nostr client with AMAZING tokenomics to incentivize content creators! You can run a relay to earn YEILD!!! This project has just GREAT fundamentals - it will be the cornerstone of digital identity!!!”

Already seeing it, however I think the narrative is more difficult for them with lightning payments already baked into #nostr.

Is this baked into #nostr at the protocol level or just the clients we’re all currently using?

We had a technical session on privacy at my local meet up and there was crypto guy there - Nostr came of briefly and we explained it to him and he was like “Dope, do they have a token? They should have a token to incentivize early users or even user p2p lending”

I feel like 99% of people are still down real, real bad…

You’re probably right and no not at the protocol level. However, when all of the features most shitcoiners promote already work on the majority of Nostr clients and use lightning, I think it’s a tough side of the argument to be on.
