Doha based International Union of Muslim Scholars (IUMS) has launched a global campaign to defend the honor of prophet Jesus (peace be upon him) after what they consider an offensive portrayal during the opening ceremony of the Paris 2024 Olympics. The IUMS expressed strong disapproval of the ceremony's depiction, particularly regarding its portrayal of Leonardo da Vinci's "The Last Supper." They called for respect for all prophets and criticized what they see as a moral decline in Western values. The campaign urges unity in addressing this issue.
