This is just more endless criticism of anything Elon tries. This method of filtering garbage sounds like a good idea to me. The proof will be in the outcome not in what Elon haters post here.

He is canceling (paid!) subscriptions of people that criticize him.
He has also updated the algo to shadow ban any accounts that have more mutes than likes. Ex) if Elon mutes nostr:npub1guh5grefa7vkay4ps6udxg8lrqxg2kgr3qh9n4gduxut64nfxq0q9y6hjy but his latest tweet gets a few bot likes, he will be shadow banned.

It’s a great way to funnel people into 1 lane and not have dissenting opinions. It’s just another flavor of the previous owners.
I was and still am rooting for him, but this ain’t the way for a “freedom app”. Especially one that wants to become your bank and payments network.
I agree that the outcome is what matters. I just hope it doesn’t become WeChat of the west!
