Tell a child they can’t do something & most will rebel against it. Children are young humans. They seek to find their place in the world from all directions.

Historically, look at the last 20 years & tell me most parents are giving informed consent to their children online.

Many ignored red pill on Reddit & look what happened there. Just one example.

Yeah I'm real worried about how to release my own kids to the Internet. The older one is just on YouTube for what amounts minecraft soap operas, pretty strict list of channels he's allowed to watch. He uses my login, cause I don't trust the algorithm to just have him

It’s definitely scary. 😱 Best advice I can offer is if/when they get phones or tablets (possibly for school) … take them at night to your room.

Many parents called me crazy when my spawn were being raised. It’s all about balance. First: ima advocate for homeschooling IF the parents choose it.

Knew a homeschooled kiddo who had a mental breakdown her freshman year of college because she was illiterate online & didn’t understand many things. She’s good now & is a successful photographer now. Thankfully. 😅 It was hard seeing her go through it.

At the same time I’ve seen a lot of kiddos who have used the internet 🛜 for good and bad. How to find the best use is important. Truly.
