so, testing out the relai, it can't send zaps

but it can receive them apparently

meanwhile, xapo bank can send zaps, but can't receive them

both can do on-chain transactions

relai + WoS seems like the way to go for this guy, he'll use WoS as his till and then send to relai to trade for euros

i'll show him anyway, i think it might take a little while for him to made his mind up about it

i'm not sure how much friction there is gonna be with this, i hope it's not gonna be big, it would be great if he can get listed on btcmap and people find him that way... and put a little thing up on the door saying he accepts bitcoin/lightning

nope, relai is not working

it really needs to be LN and it needs to be easy to go to bitcoin with amounts in the 100-200 range

seems to me like WoS and Xapo would be better for him, as he would also get a card and be able to use that to pay vendors either with the MC or SEPA

it really would be great if this was easier to do, someone surely has been building out LN POS???

i see, wallet of satoshi has moonpay integration, i need to test this

wallet of satoshi would be the easiest, it's got the simplest, most intuitive interface, and it's still available here in europe so fuck relai lol

their lightning stuff is beta

Relai should work in theory to send and receive but is probably still bugged or your channel hasn't confirmed on chain yet. Didn't work correctly on my phone either.

Instead of WoS you could also build him an offline Lightning PoS. They are really cheap and can be connected to any LNBits instance.

Then he can send the sats to relai once their bugs are fixed to sell. Or to strike, apparently they will launch in EU too in the next weeks (but they need kyc, relai doesn't).
