That's why I'm always pondering multiple jurisdictions...then the key is being able to safely travel there - which is why I at least want to eliminate requiring an airplane or boat.

When you read the stuff like what I shared about the depths they will go to steal this election...or simply sway the lemmings with MSM while hiding their preferred client in the basement or behind a teleprompter with prepared questions...you start looking for ways out.

I'm emotionally detached enough to do it. I love what I do, but I can do it anywhere. I have nice friends and clients, but I can make friends elsewhere...and invite my current friends to come visit...but my wife does love the depth of the relationships she's established over the last 24 years we've lived here.

first...I was just being a jerk. That's fun.

second..we agree on the direction of the country and the world's governments.

third..there is hope. ThePirateBay somehow continues to exist. Maybe the government doesn't consider it a big enough threat. But it is amazing that it has survived for over 20 years (I think). There are people out there who will host content regardless of what that content is. An old stoner friend of mine posited that we could do away with ISPs entirely with a series of repeaters, like the old AM radio signals. Maybe the ravings of a stoner, maybe the solution of the future. It's going to be an interesting ride.

Yep...unfortunately now necessary to think in terms of risk mitigation. Bitcoin to the moon doesn't help if you can't access it, transact with it, or get taxed to oblivion.
