What is everyone doing with localization? Are you serving translated pages automatically based on IP?

What about content? Are we just throwing everyone into global atm? We don’t set region-specific relays for same language experience?

It would be cool to offer same language out of the box experience but also have a fun way to explore the rest of the world to see what they’re up to 🤩

A way to toggle in and out or beteeen languages quickly would be nice.. especially for the multi-lingual folks.

Definitely interested in your initial question regarding serving based on ip, good q!

Ok I’ll explode how to handle it design-wise. I imagine we’d need some predefined starter relay sets for each region? Maybe someone smarter can chime in nostr:npub1l2vyh47mk2p0qlsku7hg0vn29faehy9hy34ygaclpn66ukqp3afqutajft nostr:npub1gcxzte5zlkncx26j68ez60fzkvtkm9e0vrwdcvsjakxf9mu9qewqlfnj5z

Explore… 😂

Explode works, but I knew what you meant!

Knowing me, something WOULD explode 😂

😂😂🤜

I’m on vpn all the time. So from time to time i have to get back « home » for service that force a geolocate my device some time my home is in the same country or time zone 😜🇺🇸🇩🇴🇵🇷🇨🇦

Yeah I don’t want a forced experience. If autolocated then users should be able to swap between languages effortlessly imo.

If auto translation can improve we can live in a more connected world.

Please, just use browser language, Accept-Language header, somehow.

Language based on IP is the worst. Bad when travelling, bad when at home as well.
