I brought it on myself. I maintain an Amazon list for family, so they know exactly what they can get me without stress. I mostly fill it with things that would confuse or frighten them.
That's pretty fair. It also means you can get stuff that you would never want to personally spend money on.
Ever since Bitcoin Uncensored, there has been a vein of the community that exhibits skepticism towards intellectualizing Bitcoin, or "fartiness" as we liked to call it.
I had to look up what Bitcoin Uncensored was. I've never listened to or heard of that podcast. 😅
