One of my freezers was jam pack with tomatoes this fall. Im down to one bag left. Phew.
I started growing Italian storage tomatoes this year. It has been a game changer i haven’t even touched my frozen tomatoes yet. Still have boxes of storage tomatoes.

what kind of growing medium/environment?
The Rossa Benevento ones are one of the least finicky tomatoes I have ever grown. My soil is mostly sand (amended with compost) and tomatoes tend to prefer a more loamy soil. I had no blossom end rot or disease to speak of. They are semi determinate so a large pot might even work. They are fairly prolific too.
I was hesitant but next year I am going to grow way more.
