I’m having trouble understanding this NIP-05 thing. I’m on Damus, and I don’t see a checkmark next to anyone’s name, other than the dude with a checkmark when I follow them. If I type nostrplebs.com into the search bar, nothing comes up. The only thing the search bar does is let me search for usernames. Is there something I’m missing?
same. If i use it https://nostr.rocks i do see a checkmark & can change my prof pic. But it does not translate to Damus.

I’ve tried nostr.rocks but I couldn’t figure out how to log in. I may need to convert my key and give it another try.
you paste in ur private key and click proceed. From there, u can change your settings, incld. pfp, nip-05 ID and @name for nostr.rocks
