You might come to the conclusion that its not sustainable from their perspective, the large part of the working class will not produce anything anymore, so they can not extract wealth from them and they have become a liability, a cost on the spreadsheet. This is why the concept such as the Metaverse is being pushed; to solve the problem of meaning to the large masses, and control them through technology.

And the result if they don't do anything might be societal disorder that threatens the people in power, and their wealth.
