Mother makes tasty toast in a small pan. After toasting one side of a slice, she turns it over. Each side takes 30 seconds.
The pan can only hold two slices. How can she toast both sides of three slices in 1.5 instead of 2 minutes?

From experience toast 2 will be soggy. Better to turn off the fire half after 1 & 2 are done and 3rd side 1 has just kissed the pan. Loose time but save therms. Kid and hubby will be happy can quickly rinse the cast iron pan when her slice is done and the pan is not to hot to handle.
