Success is overvalued. Some people just do different things in life and don't even notice *your* success. E.g. if you're a successful CEO with shitload $$$ at the end of the day, you can still have a drink and good relations with your poor(er) neighbor worker. Because if sth terrible happens, he'll be the first one there to help you - and the other way around too ofc.
