⚡️🇺🇸 NEW - Rideshare driver helps woman escape from a domestic violence incident as the victim's husband repeatedly rammed into the rideshare vehicle in Vancouver, Washington.

Police say the passenger was heading home from work when her husband began ramming the car.

The car was slammed four times and nearly pushed down a 20-foot embankment.

The rideshare driver was able to escape and drove the car to a nearby police station. She was then taken to the hospital for treatment.

"We want to acknowledge the incredible courage and quick thinking of the rideshare driver, whose actions likely prevented a tragedy," the Vancouver Police Department said.

The suspect remains at large.
