Subnostr

Street pass is a browser extension that shows you the mastodon accounts associated with web pages you browse. This would be an awesome nostr feature to do in our browser extensions.

Nice idea. rel=me is not an optimal way to do that. You could add some JSON in the HEAD that contains the nostr account.

Wouldn't rel=author make more sense in this case assuming that the page you visited wasn't about the person providing the link?
