For some reason, my ad blocker has decided not to work on Facebook any more.

So now I can see what Facebook is telling advertisers about me.

I am a woman, with a sense of fashion, who likes horses, needs empowerment, and wants to work in the prison service.

That's so impressively wrong that I wonder if I've somehow broken the algorithm.

(Not interested in your jUSt LEaVe fAcEbOoK takes, thanks.)

nostr:npub19lt4284mghqxekzm6n5njxurnxrxhqhrva2leusdsuu5ja5jeycq66qfjk I think one of the recent legislative boundaries set around them has really fucked up their targeting. I mostly get ads for SMEs with highly localised trade areas... from all over the UK. Especially Scotland. I don't think they can be allowing their customers to geotarget smaller areas than "this country" at all any more.

I don't really understand why anybody would still be paying for that bad a service but I guess people are locked in by the time they've invested in learning that particular ad ecosystem.
