my read of "the mounting evidence" is that at this point things are going to be changing one way or another and we're just along for the ride. I give it good odds that the permafrost goes and makes all of our efforts to curb carbon emissions look like a drop in the bucket

indeed, I do feel quite threatened. by people who to me appear violently ignorant and have an ideological axe to grind. the far left has become some sort of weird state based religion that goes to great lengths pretending it isn't one and I don't like it one bit
