Atheism is untenable as a position because of the Philosopher's Burden of Proof.

Everyone has their own understanding of the differences between atheism and agnosticism but for the sake of simplicity, I boil it down to atheism as an absolute negative claim on the existence of God and agnosticism is the neutral position.

To prove an absolute negative claim requires perfect knowledge of all things which is omniscience and a God power. Therefore, to disprove God, one must become God which is a dynamic contradiction.

The Philosopher's Burden of Proof bears upon the believers side as well. Most people suck at doing research and even more people have ego imbalances that prevent them from even searching for answers. The virtual absence of open-minded seekers equipped with robust discernment does not, however, suggest that the answers sought are not available. As the X Files said, the truth is out there.

Right now, science is being bridged with cultural, occult, religious, and esoteric wisdom traditions. Dots are being connected. Many of the puzzle pieces have already been joined and soon the image formed on top will be made available to all who are willing to look.
