I'm surprised that in 2024 mental health and psychological abuse still isn't understood to be violent and harmful when we know how many groups of people have been enslaved or subjected to genocide starting with psychological abuse. I think that capitalism has to condition us to overestimate our strength so that we can keep being used and exploited by the system. All of this makes it disappointing not to just see harassment but to see the apathy from people who should know better or claim to be allies.
