yup, the quality of GPT text is inevitably going to degrade like a jpeg re-encoded from the generated pixels 20 times over

it's unbelievable that i can't even find an example

i could do it easily in 10 minutes with gimp on any image and show what happens when you feed back the raw bits that decode out of a jpeg over and over again

it's ugly, and not just in the way of a low compression ratio
