A coworker of mine comes to work an complains about having kids and a wife and he doesn’t understand how lucky he is to have people who truly love him. He just doesn’t see it, he speaks as if he’s cursed.

Sometimes being alone is better (easier?) than being with people who make you feel alone (to riff off of Robin williams).
Neither is great.
The ones we love most have the greatest power to cause us pain. And it can feel like a curse. Just sayin'.
