Base 60 is even more based! Supposedly our overlords hid this from us back in the day, for fear such knowledge was too powerful for our own good. Something like that, I may be mixing random stories up. I do know that early ocean navigators kept their trigonometric ways close to the vest. Probably for job security and to keep their mystique
