I heard today that some people think #Rust #RustLang has an ugly syntax. I agree. It's not a simple #Lisp, so it's not pretty, and if it's not pretty, it's ugly.
More seriously, I rather think the problem isn't aesthetics, but familiarity. But that's a gut feeling, not based on research.
Only async Rust is ugly. And Lisp is always ugly, too many parenthesis.
