Do you take into consideration your security and privacy before advertising to the public that you are a bitcoin enthusiast by wearing #bitcoin apparel or by using a meetup app for bitcoin enthusiasts? I'm curious to know people's thoughts on this subject.

Bitcoiners/shitcoiners in my city have sometimes been targeted with violent assaults to relieve them of their holdings. Would never advertise to the public that I have valuables to steal.

When I go to meetups it's under a throw away email and using a different name.

If someone who is ready to use violence targets you, maybe he won't believe you when you say you've sent him everything and will just keep bashing you with a hammer.

My thoughts as well. I keep

My head on a swivel. I would never walk into a den of thieves waving a a wad of $100 dollar bills around so tattooing a bitcoin symbol on my forehead is out of the question.

This question came to mind when I saw an app being pushed called OrangePilled or so something like that.

Thanks for the feed back.
