ubuntu, it's not docker that annoys me, it is the need for docker when i already have a nix stack because all the frontend framework tooling is too brittle to maintain in a nix container
i don't get it. it's like an unwritten rule that you have to be a shitty dev to write a frontend framework ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I've learned a good bit more and I want to make go frame a lot better with a self written session manager.
What program you need docker for? I use it but sparingly. Just curious which one you run on docker 😂 I run jellyseerr audiobookshelf and immich on docker. Mostly only because they run on my windows server with wsl. Everything on my Ubuntu server is compiled binary. It's like a rule fo me. Weird how I seperate my servers 😂
Cool. And not necessarily weird. One sounds like it's just some simple apps you don't want to fuck around with installing and maintaining, and the other sounds like your work horse that you know every nook and cranny of so setup and maintenance is a breeze.
