It doesnât look like theyâre nesting to me. More like maybe they recently lost their home and theyâre hanging out.
I just noticed this group of wasps making a home on a hanging lightbulb in the backyard.
Are they going to try to make a nest on the lightbulb? How much of a problem is this going to be?
This stuck out when I searched wasps online: Wasps that are members of the clade Aculeata can sting their prey
Do these look like clade aculeata to you?
Lastly, social wasps, while considered annoying pests, are highly social beings. Should we get them on Nostr?
