I feel like an alien when confronted with the fiat lifestyles of my old friends.
In their worldview it seems like they are winning and I am stagnant/loosing.

Very true, having a longer time horizont, but I'm sure there will still be people out there who will not get into bitcoin, because they missed the boatwhen it dropped to 300k. Some of them will just never adopt it until their dollars and euros are simply backed by bitcoin. So they will live on the melting IceCube of the bitcoineuro or bitcoindollar.
Something that I'm also witnessing is that my old fiat friends are just getting fat... All of them sadly. They eat fiat foods and fiat news, so there might be a change to the worse that makes them take their meatspaces more seriously.

I’m still in it for the revolution. No bitcoin backed dollar or euro needed.
We’ll see how it turns out, but I haven’t lost hope in my fellow human beings to be able to change.
