Recession is not necessarily a bad thing. It flushes out some unhealthy companies from the market that were not sustainable enough to put something aside for hard times.

Muslims know the story of Yusuf, aleyhissalam, where he received the wahy in a dream to put something aside in seven good years for the following seven bad years.

Every company should have enough capital reserves, ideally in Bitcoin, to survive three tough years at least. Or better more. Not on credit ... real reserves.

This is because new corporate loans and bailouts only lead to more money being printed, the population becomes impoverished by losing purchasing power, wages fall and there is much less consumption. Hyperinflation. So it only helps to achieve the goal (to recover quickly) in the short term, if at all.

But there are very few companies today that have grown so healthily. They operate according to the "low time preference" principle, i.e. quick profit distribution to the board of directors and shareholders. Only few think of iron reserves.

That's why a full grown recession is good from time to time to wash away the mud.
