Throwing out an idea for you industrious nostr devs… how about a client with built-in TTS?

I was using the Pocket app to read my online text while driving, walking the dog, doing yard work etc. They seem to have dropped the feature, and its competitors in the App Store are all subscription 🐂💩.

A nostr client that would do good quality text-to-speech on a streaming basis for sats could be a win-win.

How many sats would you pay to read a Bitcoin Mag or Zero Hedge article? I’m thinking 50-100 sats / article. If you download 2 per day that’s revenue of $10-20 per customer per year. That beats the fiat TTS apps and is IMHO fair for the service.

Of course, my personal open source AI will probably do this for me, so you may only get a year or two of revenue before the paradigm shifts.
