It’s also 10 out of the last 11 papers on Bitcoin mining showing environmental benefits. Great work Murray Rudd and Dennis Porter who did most of the work in this paper.

Well done! Many steps en route to that moment I am sure. Also, what’s not to like about showing how Bitcoin is actually very sustainable
Having been heavily down the cleantech hole myself, the day I understood 1) demand-side-response energy infrastructure was best suited to Bitcoin mining & 2) a culture of low time preference due to sound money incentivises long-term resource management, I was totally sold on Bitcoin as the solution to all sustainability problems
