Asmalay House, designed by Blurring Boundaries in Alibag near Mumbai, is a biophilic home that merges architecture with nature.

The design emphasizes sustainability, using natural and recycled materials, traditional wisdom, and passive strategies. Organic curves integrate with the site’s mango trees, creating a harmonious spatial arrangement.

The house features naturally illuminated, well-ventilated spaces, a north-facing Ferro cement roof, and brick-arched windows, blending indoor and outdoor environments. This design offers a vision of harmonious human habitation with nature.
