I’ve definitely contemplated accepting credit cards for nostr:npub1xnf02f60r9v0e5kty33a404dm79zr7z2eepyrk5gsq3m7pwvsz2sazlpr5 Olympus channels, but chargebacks, dispute fees, and general processor headaches don’t seem worth it at all.

Absolutely agree with you 100%

imho, keeping nostr:nprofile1qqsrf5h4ya83jk8u6t9jgc76h6kalz3plp9vusjpm2ygqgalqhxgp9gpzpmhxue69uhkummnw3ezuamfdejsz9thwden5te0v4jx2m3wdehhxarj9ekxzmny9dq0uh the way it is as a native Bitcoin self-custody wallet without accepting CCs & leaving the fiat payment options to convert their ACH funds to bitcoin via nostr:nprofile1qqsvn0dkjt80raqrxd470c98n7zrdehmcvj6p5hgw3kyku6zyd8z0fqpz4mhxue69uhk2er9dchxummnw3ezumrpdejqzyrhwden5te0dehhxarj9emkjmn9429j36, nostr:nprofile1qqsza56ed667de7q6mu6uxspetg7gzadqtkeug3plserzcj2nz6vc7qpp4mhxue69uhkummn9ekx7mqpp3mhxue69uhkyunz9e5k7examvd, and other Bitcoin exchanges was the smart move.

You can let people buy channels with Klarna and pay over time. They take on the charge back risk for you.

Interesting. From what I read, the flexibility in payments seem to be the main attraction for users & a buffer in general processor issues for potential vendors.

Here’s to hoping the Fold Bitcoin Rewards Credit Card, that’s soon to be released, will have that kind of flexibility too.

Shameless shill plug here: https://use.foldapp.com/r/3VYV3APM

It will be a traditional CC that just pays rewards in Bitcoin

In that case, I can see how Klarna would be useful here
