Good luck, you got this! ๐Ÿค—

thank you buddy ๐Ÿค—๐Ÿ’œ

Good for you

Good luck!

Go easy on the caffeine beforehand (I needed to be told that!)

huh, for anxiety or? ๐Ÿค”

Yup. I was quite jittery at mine! Passed anyway tho. You'll be wide awake without it I think

probably not needed for me, will be excited already ๐Ÿ˜„

Good luck, t

๐Ÿค— thank you so much

any beater/first cars you'd recommend, so i can have something set out as a dream ๐Ÿ˜„

๐Ÿ˜„ I will always recommend a lovingly used Japanese car. Less headaches and will last a bit longer.

well i was thinking toyota already๐Ÿ˜„

See? Youโ€™re well on your way already. Great start!

I don't know much about the insides of a car, but just thinking of working on one sounds really fascinating and new, excited to own and learn one soon ๐Ÿค—

if your thinking of doing your own fix up; models that have interchangeable parts for years or with other models like/ mazda & ford ranger pick ups interchange parts in some cases across a 10yr span. just an angle to consider for parts

Best, most reliable car Iโ€™ve ever owned was a 1995 5 series E34. Sadly quite old now and also shot up in price too. Iโ€™d agree with AK - an economical and reliable Japanese cart to get you startedโ€ฆ

can't believe that was already 29 years ago, eh

jesus

japanese is the way, sucker for anything japanese tbh ๐Ÿ˜…

like this is me

There was a time when BMW made them to last.. a bit longer. ๐Ÿ™‚ My friendโ€™s E36 M3 still runs to this day with 250K miles.

Definitely. It was so reliable. I had a W124 Mercedes before it and that, despite being renown for reliability, did not compare (mainly due to its belt-driven 4-pot, distributor cap-firing setup compared with the BMWโ€™s chain driven, smooth 6-cylinder block and its electronic firing. Miss it to this dayโ€ฆ

You can do iit!

๐Ÿค— thank you kat

how easy was adjusting from right-hand side to left-hand side traffic for you? ๐Ÿค”

Not bad tbh

Good luck! Gotta be done! Motorcycle license still eludes me - must get around to completing that!

i'd love a motorcycle, but i fear becoming a vegetable

Same and precisely why I have delayed it. Iโ€™m a bit of a risk taker based on my cycling past and that does not work well with what is effectively a bicycle with a big engine. I do know a sports motorbike ๐Ÿ๏ธ is probably not for me for these reasons - probably has to be something a little heavy, laid back and sedate.

yeah, exactly the same here

Drive like the wind!!

Good luck

Good luck ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿ™Œ

y'all so positive, don't make me well up you buggers ๐Ÿ˜ โค๏ธ
