Diocese of Paris marks twenty-year high at first Notre-Dame ordinations since fire
On 28 June 2025, the eve of the feast of St Peter and St Paul, in Notre-Dame Cathedral, Paris, Archbishop Laurent Ulrich, the Archbishop of Paris, ordained 16 men to the Sacred Priesthood. These were the first ordinations held in the historic cathedral since it was nearly destroyed by fire in 2019 and subsequently restored.
