Currently in Dubai which has near zero crime. Asking myself why asylum seekers choose to come to the UK over here somewhere like the UAE? Let me know your theories? I have mine. The problem is not immigration. The problem is the European policies of importing criminals. Surely behind all this there is a plan to control the citizens
Agree immigration is not the issue. I don’t think it’s as clever as that I just think it’s poor weak leadership. Politicians too interested in their careers not their country.
I believe that politicians are experts in creating problems and offering their solutions. In this case, creating crime in the streets so that citizens ask the government for less freedom and more state intervention such as cameras, curfews, restriction of mobility,...
Last time I was in Dubai, I heard quite a few Europeans talking about fleeing Europe for Dubai, specifically because of the asylum seekers. It was a great way to make the point that it wasn't about race or religion. I'm hoping Dubai becomes more of an exemplar of what true liberalism can be: they have a clear Muslim identity, they don't shy away from it, but they fully tolerate respectful members of other races and religions.
