As I said in the blog post, we've upgraded from 2kWh to a 4.8kWh system.
Our average daily usage is about 10kWh - but we only get that much excess in summer.
If you can get a flexible tariff, then you can charge cheaply.
I don't know where you are in the world, or your daily usage, so don't feel comfortable advising.
