When you have government collapse. civil war is likely to follow. They only have themselves to blame for forcing it thinking they’ll have “managed decline” instead of a hard crash. The next big riots could be over illegal aliens as much as a race war or economic collapse… they’re pulling all the levers at once.

ie Ending oil production alone is bad, but sending all your wealth into a dead end proxy war sure doesn’t make citizens very good when they lost their houses and can’t afford food. The problems feed on each other. Then putting illegals in hotels and paying them salaries is another heap of straws (current hot topic). Now toss in PDs and military are at a nadir. It’s a recipe for government collapse as it ends law and order along with security. We don’t even know all the factions that can form from such a fracture.
