Don't do it Mike. Don't spend your Bitcoin with someone who will immediately convert it to fiat.
Oooh, looking at possible AI hardware suppliers and this company accepts Bitcoin:

Well I don't have any fiat, so either I convert it to fiat to buy from somebody else or they may end up converting it, or not.
Half a utopia is better than a dystopia π
Exactly. If I did this, I'd have to live my entire life on nostr:nprofile1qqsfnnh6v3dspqtnwv3e46aed5k3nypyfx2wtet92ekg9szt3hr9k4qpzdmhxue69uhhqatjwpkx2urpvuhx2ue0qythwumn8ghj7un9d3shjtnswf5k6ctv9ehx2ap0qy48wumn8ghj7mn0wd68yvfkxumrxvfex5mrwvfhxqhxzurs9ee82mn0denxcatc9e5k7tcwwncnc and nostr:nprofile1qqsppdnxpjc82jlm3yn9gawhv7p4nm69a3f80rg5ycw305xned2s0hcpz4mhxue69uhhyetvv9ujuerpd46hxtnfduhsz9mhwden5te0wfjkccte9ec8y6tdv9kzumn9wshsz9rhwden5te0v9kxwmeww468smewdahx2tcq7d5tl . I'm good, but not that good lol We still live in a fiat denominated world regardless of the money we choose to save in.
I'm all for businesses trying to "close the loop" but trying to imagine what they'll do with the Bitcoin they earned from me is too wild.
If everybody paid them in Bitcoin, they would for certain have to convert most of it because they have rent, rates, suppliers, staff and utilities to pay in fiat.
I suspect that any company who accepts Bitcoin keeps at least a portion of it as the correct and sensible way to build a Bitcoin Strategic Reserve.
That last part is a coin toss for me. I think we're still earlyish on companies figuring Bitcoin out.
This is a very bizarre way of approaching commerce. Sounds more religious than economic.
